1. Our role

Plotmesh helps users plan, generate, review, and manage creative content using multiple AI and media providers. Whether Plotmesh acts as a provider, deployer, or both for a given generation route has not been confirmed by qualified counsel. Until that confirmation exists, treat every Plotmesh output as AI-generated or AI-assisted and disclose it accordingly.

2. Article 50 transparency duties

Article 50 of the EU AI Act requires providers and deployers of AI systems that generate synthetic audio, image, video, or text content to ensure outputs are marked in a machine-readable format and disclosed as artificially generated or manipulated where applicable. The duty applies from 2 August 2026. Plotmesh has not established an audited, format-wide machine-readable marking chain for every downloaded output, and it performs no binary provenance embedding (no C2PA claims).

3. What the app marks automatically

Plotmesh sets YouTube's synthetic-media flag (containsSyntheticMedia: true) on uploads it performs for you after your explicit approval. That flag is set by the app; you do not need to set it yourself for YouTube uploads made through Plotmesh.

Every project JSON export can carry a machine-readable disclosure object (generator, aiAssisted: true, destinations, createdAt) as a JSON sidecar. This is JSON metadata only — it is not a C2PA manifest and does not embed anything in media binaries.

4. What you must disclose yourself

For TikTok uploads, add TikTok's AI-generated label before publishing. For Instagram uploads, add Instagram's AI-info label before publishing. For direct downloads and files you share elsewhere, add your own visible disclosure. These destinations receive no automatic marking from Plotmesh. Review sponsorship, altered-content, and platform disclosure rules before every publication.

5. Upstream marks and literacy

Preserve machine-readable origin or provenance information where present and do not remove or obscure a disclosure to mislead people. If you supply third-party AI-generated material, keep its existing marks and pass the AI-generated character on to your audience.
